The Lodge

Sipi River Lodge is a mid-range to up-market lodge in the foothills of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda. We are well known for our waterfall views, our excellent coffee, grown and roasted on the property, and stunning natural environment that visitors can explore through hiking and coffee tours.

We pride ourselves on our British/Ugandan feel, attention to detail, and our core values that guide the business:

  • Excellent Customer Service – our staff are courteous and friendly and welcome guests to the lodge as visitors to our home. We work to ensure that we show a high standard of professionalism in all communications with guests and stakeholders. The atmosphere, attention to detail, and guest experience are the most important factors in the lodge’s continued success.

  • Socially Conscious – Our staff and local community are at the forefront of our decision-making. We pride ourselves on being responsible employers and working in partnership with the local community while promoting the area and local businesses.

  • Environmentally Conscious – We source our products, materials, and services locally and, where possible, organically. We are thoughtful stewards of our land and blend our designs with the landscape while working to maintain a small environmental footprint.
